SMana v65: from the Coaches Ranking to a career in the dugout
Reputation becomes the starting point of a real coaching career: a personal coach identity, stable clubs, end-of-season negotiations and an even greater emphasis on fitness management.
With version 65 every SMana dugout gains an even more recognisable identity. Coaches of system-controlled clubs receive their own names and compete with human managers in the Coaches Ranking, building reputation through results and achievements.
With update 65.1, reputation becomes the starting point of a real coaching career. Clubs keep their identity over time, while coaches can change teams and carry their personal history, statistics and value from season to season.
At the end of the season, boards can look for new coaches and managers can apply to clubs currently run by BOT coaches. Negotiations can proceed in parallel, allowing several opportunities to be compared before deciding whether to change project or continue with the current club.
Salary also enters the career as a measure of the value achieved. Clubs must decide how much to invest in the bench and how much to preserve for the squad, while coaches may choose a challenge for more than prestige alone: restarting from a lower division can become a genuine career decision.
With 65.2 the coach's identity is separated even more clearly from the account and the club: each manager chooses the name under which to live the career, while clubs keep a stable identity even when the coach changes.
Physical management also gains a more concrete role: player fitness contributes to match performance, making minute distribution, squad depth and freshness for decisive fixtures even more important.
SMana therefore changes perspective: you do not permanently manage a club that belongs to you; you build the story of a coach called to leave a mark at different clubs.
