SMana v67: the board now judges your work

The new Board area arrives: club confidence, seasonal objectives, supporter sentiment, squad suggestions and a contract situation that genuinely depends on the manager's work.

With version 67, the relationship between manager and club becomes much more concrete. The new Board page brings the club's assessment of your work into one place and shows how results, objectives, squad, transfers, finances and contract situation are developing.

Confidence does not react mechanically to the latest match. A defeat may matter little if the team is performing above expectations, while a strong squad sitting far from its objectives can increase pressure on the manager. The Board highlights positives and concerns and can suggest concrete actions: strengthen a short department, consider sales where there are too many players, or reduce investment when resources become limited.

Supporters also gain their own voice. Their judgement is separate from the Board's and takes current form and expectations into account: they may continue to back the project after a setback or show growing frustration when results remain below expectations for too long.

At the start of every season, the club also sets objectives consistent with the level and path of the club. Not every team is expected to win the league: for some the target may be to consolidate their division, for others to fight for promotion, reach the title zone or improve their cup run. Objectives are communicated through a Board message and can be followed throughout the season on the new page.

Version 67 finally connects this assessment to the coach's career. Salary and contract become part of the club picture and an end-of-season renewal is no longer guaranteed: results, objectives and confidence all help determine whether the club wants to continue the relationship or whether it is time for the manager to look for another bench.

SMana therefore adds a new layer to everyday management: you must not only build a competitive team, but also prove to the board and the wider environment that the project is moving in the right direction.
